Energy stores and transfers, conservation of energy, work, power, efficiency, energy resources and the calculations students need to confidently tackle exam questions.
02 — ELECTRICITY
Current, potential difference, resistance, series and parallel circuits, electrical power, energy transfers, domestic electricity and the National Grid
03 — PARTICLE MODEL OF MATTER
Density, changes of state, internal energy, specific heat capacity, specific latent heat and the relationship between temperature, pressure and volume.
04 — ATOMIC STRUCTURE
Atoms, isotopes and ions, the development of the atomic model, radioactive decay, half-life, nuclear equations, contamination and irradiation.
